Chess win Excellence in Customer Service Award

Chess Telecom was recently announced the winner of the “Excellence in Customer Service” Award at the Macclesfield and Wilmslow Business awards.

The judges chose Chess based on the significant investment Chess makes in training & developing its people, it’s clear focus on performance and the satisfaction of its customers, and the clear strategies Chess has in place to continually improve the customer experience.

Julie Wright, Operations Director and pictured below receiving the award, stated “What a fantastic achievement it was for us to win the Excellence in Customer Service award against some tough competition from local competitors. It’s in our culture to exceed our customers’ expectations and this award is a testament to that promise and the hard work of our people.

It’s Chess vision to become ‘the choice’ for Business Telecoms and as such Chess aim to become the benchmark for customer service within the industry. The Wilmslow & Macclesfield Business Award is the second customer service award Chess have won this year alone, having been named the Institute of Customer Service - Quality Service Provider of the Year in March.

David Pollock, Chief Executive at Chess, commented “We’re passionate about delivering world class service for our customers and about playing our part in the local community and for local businesses. Winning business and industry awards for excellence is part of our Blueprint and we’re delighted to be recognized as providing exceptional service within our local area.”
