Cisco Announces UK and Ireland 2009 Channel Partner Award Winners

Cisco UK and Ireland has today announced the winners of its 2009 Channel Partner Awards. The winners are invited to a presentation event at Cisco’s offices in Bedfont Lakes on Wednesday 27 May with UK and Ireland Managing Director Phil Smith.

Among the winners was Slough-based Logicalis, which received two awards, Data Centre Partner of the Year and Unified Communications Partner of the Year, for continually providing market-leading expertise and support across a range of products.

The seven winners were selected from a list of more than 2,670 Cisco Certified Channel Partners in the UK and Ireland by Cisco for their outstanding performance in one of the following categories: Data Centre, Unified Communications, Distribution, Service Provider, Services, Industry Solutions, and at both the Foundation and Select partner levels.

The 2009 Cisco UK and Ireland Channel Partner Award winners are:

Unified Communications Partner of the Year – Logicalis

Foundation Partner of the Year – Di Data

Distribution Partner of the Year – Sharptext

Service Provider Partner of the Year – BT

Services Partner of the Year – IBM

Industry Solutions Partner of the Year – 2e2

Dimension Data, who scooped the Foundation Partner of the Year award. Their Managing Director, Ton van Horssen commented, “It’s always an honour to be recognised and to receive an award such as this.
