Analysts are expecting great things from Cisco in 2006. In New York the Prudential Equity Group upgraded Cisco Systems to "overweight" from "neutral weight" and raised the price target and earnings estimates, expecting sales to accelerate in fiscal third quarter 2006 and beyond.
The research analyst said Cisco's acquisition of Scientific-Atlanta should complete in early February, helping fuel additional revenue synergies of 1% to 2% into fiscal 2007.
