Cisco Silver for Networks First

Network support services specialist, Networks First, has announced it has been accredited as a Cisco Silver Partner for a third consecutive year. The company is one of only two service-only businesses to attain the highest levels of accreditation.

Steve Niven, Sales Director, Networks First, comments: “We are extremely proud to be one of the very few independent services led network support specialists to carry the Cisco silver partner status. This accreditation is part of our aim to offer the very best market leading expertise on the technology and products available from all the leading vendors.

“The silver partner status is a reflection of the commitment and passion of the whole team at Networks First, from the engineers to the account managers. Having achieved outstanding customer satisfaction ratings in last year’s accreditation process, we had set ourselves an extremely hard standard to beat – but beat it we did!

“Our areas of specialisation for Cisco accreditation this year included unified communications and wireless technology, but we expect to add further specialisations to our portfolio in the near future, starting with security. We have found all of these markets to be extremely strong growth areas for our business in 2006.”

The Silver Partner status is only awarded by Cisco Systems after a stringent accreditation process covering networking competency, service and support, personnel, specialisation and customer satisfaction.

Networks First’s specialist team includes qualified CCIE engineers and account managers who all undergo Cisco training, examinations and hands-on experience before becoming accredited.
