Cisco Systems' CEO Chambers gets $3.5m Bonus

Cisco said last week that it has awarded Chairman and Chief Executive John T. Chambers a $3.5 million year-end incentive payment.

According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the computer network equipment maker also granted year-end awards under its professional and leadership incentive plan to other executives including Chief Financial Officer Dennis D. Powell and Richard J. Justice, executive vice president for worldwide operations and business development.

Chambers' award was determined by the Cisco board's compensation and management committee and is separate from the professional and leadership incentive plan, the SEC filing said.

Shares of San Jose-based Cisco closed at $31.21, up 12 cents.
