Cisilion and Azlan Drive Cloud Opportunities

Cloud
Cisilion is working with Azlan to complement and extend Cisilion’s existing data centre and hybrid cloud expertise and drive new business opportunities.

The collaboration will mean close co-operation between the companies on a number of EMC projects, in which Azlan wills provided pre-sales support, professional services expertise and product fulfilment on the vendor’s solutions to Cisilion, with additional support from EMC itself. Azlan will also become Cisilion’s preferred and sole distribution provider of EMC solutions.

Nick Paul, Sales Director and EMC Executive Sponsor at Cisilion, said, “While Cisilion has been a reseller of other storage providers for many years, EMC is the global leader that will help transform the operations of Cisilion’s customers. This agreement allows us to work more strategically with EMC to help our customers achieve cost reductions while strengthening our own storage propositions.”

Commenting on behalf of Azlan, Paul Milner, EMC Business Manager at the value distributor, stated, “Cisilion is one of the leading integrators of data centre systems and its strong focus on the delivery of new generation IT systems to achieve effective customer transformation is very closely aligned with Azlan’s own approach. This is a powerful collaboration that will drive new opportunities and deliver even more positive outcomes for Cisilion’s end-user customers.”

Kevin Sparks, Director of Alliances, Channel and Distribution at EMC, said, “We made this significant investment in Cisilion due to their presence in the City of London, their expertise in data centre and existing premiere partnerships with leading vendors. This extends to far more than just a reseller agreement and we are excited to have this fast-growing company as a key partner.”

Cisilion’s strategic partner ecosystem, which already includes Cisco, Microsoft, Riverbed and Dell, enables the systems integrator to protect, extend and secure its customers’ hybrid data centres in a cloud-protected world.
