CityFibre Appoints Wareing As Sales Director

CityFibre has appointed George Wareing as Sales Director. George brings 18 years of experience in the cable and mobile sectors. This included 15 years at Virgin Media Business where he built a commercial team and transformed the mobile backhaul market through a £100million national backhaul deal with MBNL.

In his new role at CityFibre, George will be focused on leading the sales and business development team to drive growth across the carrier, wholesale channel, mobile and public sectors. George said: “My immediate priority will be our teams and partners to ensure we’re delivering the best possible service. In parallel will be the creation of strong new partnerships that help accelerate CityFibre’s role in the UK’s full-fibre digital revolution and disrupt Openreach’s unmerited dominance in the market.
