Next generation value-added distributor Cloud Distribution announced today that it has created a new Datacentre Infrastructure (DCI) team and expanded its portfolio, signing two new disruptive vendor partners in the data protection and storage space, Actifio & Accelstor. The new vendors will complement existing vendors A10 Networks, Acronis, Arista Networks, Datacore, Exinda, Pivot3 and Hypergrid which will all be managed by the new DCI team.
The DCI team will increase focus around best of class, multi-vendor solutions, creating a knowledge hub for partners to tap into. Dedicated staff in the sales, technical and marketing functions will mean partners can benefit from support in more deals and drive more business.
“We are really proud to have made this step towards creating our own center of excellence, as it facilitates additional growth opportunities for both our reseller and vendor partners. The new DCI team complements the existing Cyber Security Solutions (CSS) and Networking Solutions (NS) teams” said Bruce Hockin, director of DCI solutions at Cloud Distribution.
“Our channel partners are critical to establishing a fast-growing, profitable company that is changing the game through our Enterprise Data -as-a-Service proposition. Cloud Distribution are in a strong position to support us in that plan, by extending our reach and value proposition across their extensive partner network,” said Alexander Downham, EMEA Channel Manager at Actifio.
“Our partnership with Actifio is a great opportunity for our partners, as their Virtual Data Pipeline technology creates a compelling story for end users looking to reduce risk by revolutionising their back-up and recovery strategy. In addition, it opens doors for DevOps optimisation and creates a ‘land and expand’ opportunity in the database recovery space” said Grant Reddin, Director of sales, Cloud Distribution Ltd.
“By joining AccelStor’s expertise in all-flash storage arrays with Cloud Distribution’s knowledge and relationships within the partner community, we can define new opportunities for the digital transformation of big data applications. We are excited to be making this partnership with them and their DCI team,” said Stefan Ferrari, Technical Sales Director, AccelStor.
