Cloud without the Fluff

Ultraspeed has announced an expansion of its Disaster Recovery service portfolio. Ultraspeed is now offering the option for Hot Standby Diskless Virtual Servers in their London and Amsterdam Data Centres, which means that if a client experiences a catastrophic site failure, Ultraspeed can now provide full disaster recovery within 45 minutes.

Jordan Gross, Ultraspeed’s CEO, explained; “This provides an extra layer of security in the event of a major failure. This further enhancement to Ultraspeed’s Disaster Recovery portfolio gives clients the assurance that regardless of major whole data center failures; they will have the ability to stay online and continue to transact business.

We always start by trying to understand the needs of our clients, which is what led us to introduce our Diskless Simple and Diskless Infrastructure products in 2009. Ultraspeed’s Diskless Platform was basically a managed shared cloud which affords clients the flexibility of cloud technologies with significant operational advantages from a managed service. We didn’t call it that originally because we sell solutions rather than technology, but we’re now happy to call it cloud computing, especially if that helps people to better understand what we are and what we do.”
