Colt Announces 2008 Partner of the Year Awards

Colt, the European provider of business communications, is underlining its support for the channel with the announcement of its prestigious Partner of the Year Awards programme. The Colt Awards scheme recognises not only the financial success of individual partner agents and resellers, but also the value to Colt of the customer experience which is provided.

Now in its third year, the Partner of the Year brings focus to the company’s Expect More customer promise, as personified by its 660 strong channel partners, and offers opportunity for recognition at both national and European levels. The European finals will be held in March 2009 in Rome.

The awards are a key part of Colt’s ongoing commitment to the partner channel and recognise those partners who excel in their relationships with Colt and their customers. This year’s awards categories are:

Innovation partner of the year

Sales and Marketing Excellence Partner of the Year

Account Management Partner of the Year

Business Win of the Year

New Partner of the Year

“All of our customers recognise our promise to them of Expect More. We recognise that the majority of relationships that are built, particularly with our small and medium-sized business customers, are forged and maintained by our channel partners. We have a partner base of 660 partners and already this year, over 40 further organisations have signed up to work with us, demonstrating our attractive and rewarding Partner Channel Program”, said Rakesh Bhasin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Colt.

“Without a doubt, recognising, supporting and strengthening our channel is an absolutely vital part of the Colt business model and I am delighted to once again invite those of our partners who excel to come forward and get the recognition they deserve”.

Judging for the Awards will take place in December and local events to recognise the top partners in each country will be run during January and February. The European winners will be revealed in Rome in March 2009.
