Comms Business has restructured its team following a raft of internal promotions. Mat Swift has been named the magazine’s new Publisher, Moh Lalani has been appointed Sales Director, Charlotte Hathway will be taking over as Editor, and Phil Glover will be the title’s Business Support Executive.
Mat Swift has been appointed Publisher following a successful seven years as the magazine’s Sales Director. He will replace David Dungay who has been with the business for 8 years. Moh Lalani has been promoted to Sales Director in recognition of his creative and commercial achievements since joining the magazine three years ago.
Charlotte Hathway joins the team following roles with Mark Allen Group technology titles Land Mobile, Critical Communications Today and New Electronics. Phil Glover also joins the magazine from within the Mark Allen Group, and will provide marketing, production, and social media expertise to help diversify how we reach our readers. He will also play a key role in preparations for the Channel Live exhibition in January.
Mat Swift commented, “It’s always bittersweet when one chapter comes to an end and another closes, but with David’s departure we had the opportunity to bring new people on board to ensure our magazine remains the number one place for Channel news, advice, and information here in the UK.
“I’m delighted to take the reins as publisher, and it’s been great opportunity to build a team that balances deep industry expertise and fresh ideas. The Channel is a vibrant industry that needs good journalism to showcase the transformative work happening up and down the country. We’ll continue to bring those stories to you.”
