Comms-care put on ‘Horror Show’ in aid of charity

Comms-care dusted off their witches hats, broomsticks and pumpkins recently to raise money for their chosen charity, The Railway Children. The theme was ‘Halloween’ and members of staff were asked to be as creative as possible in preparing their costumes.

From pumpkins to cauldrons the day was well supported by all at Comms-care and funds were raised through spare change being emptied from desk trays, contributions for face and nail painting and generous donations placed into the witches cauldrons located around the office.

The winner for the best dressed costume went to Elizabeth Johnson in the Contracts Department who dressed up as a ‘Scary Fairy’. A large customised pumpkin was presented to Elizabeth which was creatively carved by the Comms-care marketing team.

Richard Eglon, Marketing Manager at Comms-care commented “The effort made by everyone involved was tremendous. We always receive plenty of support and enthusiasm from the Comms-care team when trying to organise any charitable event and when you give people an excuse to dress up in costumes the length some people go to still surprises me.”

Over £150 was raised in aid of ‘The Railway Children’ and we aim to add to this in the coming week. Thank you to all who contributed and dressed up.
