Comms-care retains high standards

Comms-care has been re-certified by LRQA with the quality, services and security management certifications ISO 9001, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001.

The re-certifications come after a week-long visit from the LRQA assessors where all areas of the business were closely examined to ensure standards reached those outlined in the ISO standards for IT Security Management, IT Quality Management and IT Service Management.

During the recent ISO assessment carried out at Comms-care, Tony Smith, LRQA Assessor said “The activities, documents and records sampled showed that the needs of the business, its customers, and the applicable requirements of ISO20000-1, ISO27001, and ISO9001 continue to be met across all of Comms-care’s business and service areas. The organisation has demonstrated good commitment to service quality and information security as well as an excellent understanding of the applicable quality controls.

Ewan Conlon, Head of Service Delivery, commented, “By retaining our ISO certifications, Comms-care provides its channel partners with an advantage over their competitors. Partners get access to processes and policies that are officially recognised as having excellence in quality, service management and information security standards. The re-certifications of these ISO standards are not just fantastic news for Comms-care, but also for our channel partners.”

The re-certifications of the three ISO standards are in place for a 3 year period, subject to continuous audits with LRQA assessors. Comms-care has also successfully passed its 6 monthly continual audit for the ISO 14001 certification.
