Comms-care step up to silver on the podium

Comms-care, the provider of channel network and IT support services recently announced their new status as a Cisco Silver Partner.

Following on from their recent success in becoming a Cisco Collaborative Services Partner, Comms-care continue to build on their established Cisco networking expertise by adding various Cisco Advanced Specializations in areas that include Security, Wireless and Voice. Comms-care is not looking to stop here as they intend to apply for Gold Partner status within a matter of weeks due to the successful outcome of their Silver Partner audit.

Scott Yates, Managing Director at Comms-care explains “As skill sets in the channel continue to decline it is fundamental that channel only support organisations such as Comms-care commit to filling this void by providing resellers with the most critical support services such as maintenance, installation and professional services. Comms-care’s multi-vendor approach provides our channel partners with a highly skilled network of technical personnel who are trained across a wide range of products and services. Gaining Cisco Silver Partner status which we hope will shortly become Gold is testament to the hard work and commitment of our all our support staff.”

The audit was a thorough and detailed process that required Cisco representatives to visit the Comms-care head offices. In order for a successful application Comms-care had to provide evidence of having the correct number of Cisco trained engineers from CCNA to CCIE level. Additional requirements included a Cisco demonstration facility, security policies and procedures, quality assurance, incident management and the ongoing training of the support team to name a few.
