Comms Suite a Channel Triumph

With all four of the core 2009 modules of Oaks integrated Comms Suite now released, attention is turning to what can be expected for Comms Suite 10.

Oak joint founder and CEO Phil Reynolds has indicated that work is well underway on additional functionality for all of the modules. “As always we’re making huge investments in this area to ensure our products continue to lead the field.”

The integrated approach has been a winner with resellers who have installed Comms Suite modules in projects ranging from stand alone call logging as add-ons to their existing switch installation base to a new 6000 extension switch, proving the real scalability of Oak applications.

The code-level integration of Comms Suite applications is also boosting sales to contact centre installations where a requirement for CTI screen popping functionality with record-linked call recording is becoming the norm. Oak’s software development kits for Comms Suite Connect application integration module are making integration with custom business applications straightforward and, of course, all the leading proprietary databases and CRM systems are already catered for with Connect’s built-in interfaces.

Comms Suite underpins Oak’s commitment to the reseller channel, bringing enterprise levels of reporting, recording, CTI and wallboard display technology to the SME sector in a suite of applications that feature user-friendly interfaces that facilitate cross-selling. It offers call logging (Report), call recording (Record), multi-source wallboards (Display) and CTI application integration (Connect).

“Whether you have 10 extensions or 10,000, you get the same robust and technically superior solution from Oak,” says Phil Reynolds.
