CommSoft Convergence Summit Product Launch

CommSoft is set to unveil new additions to the CommsOffice suite of products at the upcoming Convergence Summit (Manchester 1-2 May) including the new entry level CommsOffice Lite version, which offers full call management features with an ‘MS Outlook’ feel.

The vendor says CommsOffice Lite offers great value at £395 (dealer buy price). The product is not short of features: real time call capturing and reporting, standard and customisable reports, multi-site capability, unlimited workstation installations at no extra cost, account and PIN codes, auto discovery of extensions, trunks, PIN numbers and account codes, alarms and many more.

There is a simple upgrade path available from CommsOffice Lite to either CommsOffice Standard or CommsOffice Pro, both of which add further features: the standard version gives the possibility of live ACD reporting, wallboard views and ticker tape scrolling views of live calls. CommsOffice Pro has all of the features mentioned so far but with the addition of network and data monitoring: customers can track e-mail and internet usage through their organisation. The Pro version also offers many billing features, including billing by extension, client, room or account code.

Also previewing at the show, CommsOffice Enterprise a truly innovative communications management and integrated call recording solution. This new product will offer all of the reporting features of the range plus the ability to search and play back high quality encrypted call recordings from call records at the click of a mouse.

Hot off the press comes the news that Panasonic have now endorsed the CommsOffice range for their dealers, who will be able to buy Panasonic branded CommsOffice products from May.

‘We are very pleased to get the seal of approval from Panasonic once again’ says Anthony Church, MD of CommSoft (Europe) Ltd. ‘They have completed rigorous testing on the range and are poised to launch the Panasonic branded products to their dealers. Over the years, our relationship has gone from strength to strength but we are never complacent: we have to continually offer innovative and stable products which add value to their range of switches’, he adds.

CommSoft will be demonstrating the CommsOffice suite at the Convergence Summit North, in a series of timed demos or in one-to-one personal appointments which can be pre- booked to avoid the queues.
