Commsworld has announced the appointment of John McDermott to the role of Customer Operations Manager.
McDermott originally from an IT background previously spent nine years providing Network and desktop support services to Scottish Power’s corporate, energy retail, management and generation divisions.
More recently McDermott has spent the last eight years in IT and Telecommunications Service Management; firstly with SAIC where he was responsible for corporate accounts such as Scottish Water, Invitrogen and Southern Water before moving to THUS in early 2008 where he was responsible for managing telecommunications services to an array of accounts such as DC Thomson, the Miller Group, Orange and Sungard.
“In his new role, John will be using his extensive knowledge and experience within Service Support to further enhance our own operations. These moves further underline our growing success in the Billing / Mobile / Circuits marketplace,” said Ricky Nicol.
