Commvault appoints Jamie Farrelly as new EMEA channel chief

Commvault has announced the appointment of Jamie Farrelly as EMEA vice president, channel and alliances. In his new role, Farrelly will oversee Commvault’s EMEA partner organisation, with a focus on the implementation of its channel engagement best practices, global programmes and enablement plans.

“We have to be bold, because we have everything we need to be really relevant to our partners and to add value to them. Relevance is driven by people, technical excellence, and belief – and this is why I’m excited to join the Commvault team, as we have all of these in abundance,” explained Farrelly.

Farrelly has over 20 years’ experience working at distribution and vendor organisations, including global multinationals to start-ups. He joins Commvault after a stint as Veritas Technologies’ EMEA vice president for channels, and brings a wealth of insight and market understanding. He will look to maximise growth and profitability for all levels of Commvault partners.

The new VP joins the Commvault EMEA leadership team, reporting into Marco Fanizzi, VP sales EMEA. He will implement localised global best practices developed by John Tavares, the company’s recently appointed VP of global channel and alliances.
