Steve Bieniek, VoIP Unlimited’s Sales Director who also participated in the driving experience commented: “After we passed the mandatory medical we were suited up in fire retardant race suits and awaited our turn to be strapped into the seat harness just behind the driver. The acceleration and braking forces were unbelievable.”
The Formula One-based cars are fitted with a 700hp-plus V10 engine, F1-specification, suspension, brakes and tyres and the resulting passenger experience is as close as an individual can currently come to driving a Formula One car without getting behind the wheel.
Ian mentions “I think 3 laps was enough! - I smile when I think of Steve’s face when he came out of the garage having just had his run. I think his legs were a bit wobbly, just like mine after my run! It really was wonderfully different.”
The competition was promoted exclusively through Comms Business Magazine in 2007.
VoIP Unlimited are continuing to successfully recruit channel partners looking at providing SIP trunking services as an added value around premised based phone systems.
