Computer 2000, the UK arm of Tech Data, is extending the availability of its TDMedia service, which enables resellers to take up-to-date information about new products, solutions and services from vendors and make it available on their own websites. For vendors, TDMedia provides a simple way to achieve maximum impact with minimal investment and stimulate end-user demand for new products through reseller partners.
The company says TDMedia creates a dedicated and streamlined content portal for vendor solutions, designed to sit easily within the reseller’s own website. Computer 2000’s marketing team work with the vendor partner to ensure that all material is kept up to date with the latest information. TDMedia programmes can be run independently or incorporated within Tech Select schemes.
The TDMedia service is entirely free to resellers. All they need to do is include the link on their own websites and use the tools available to adjust pricing and other details. It enables them to present detailed and up-to-date information on key solutions through their own web presence without having to make any up-front or on-going investment or commitment.

Computer 2000 will create personalised and co-branded e-mailers for registered resellers on a regular basis, which they can use to make customers aware of the very latest products launches, offers and promotions, with ready-made click-through links already provided.
Additionally, resellers can create their own email templates and the software allows resellers to import their own e-mail lists or create new mailing lists from scratch. As the data never leaves the reseller’s own systems, it is completely safe and secure. This part of the service is also being offered completely free of charge to the first 100 resellers that sign up for TDMedia.
