Computerlinks Unveils its First University Event for UK Resellers

Distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions Computerlinks will be hosting its first UK University reseller event 'Convergence 2008-2010, the new business opportunities' on Wednesday 14th November, at the Cumberland Hotel, London. The event is designed to provide UK resellers with a wealth of insight into the opportunities of convergence as well as the latest innovations in areas such security and virtualisation.

David Ellis, Director of e-Security, Professional Services and Training, said, "We think that this will be an extremely thought provoking and informative event for both new and existing partners. It is ideal for resellers to attend whether they are looking to develop new services or offerings around convergence opportunities or whether they want to understand how new computing models will impact their business and servicing. We are particularly excited to welcome the keynote speakers and also look forward to the panel sessions, which should generate interesting debate on how the channel can benefit from the big changes occurring in our market."

'Convergence 2008-2010, the new business opportunities' will host over 100 e-Security and e-Business UK based resellers.

The keynote speakers presenting on the day will be: Graham Whitehead, BT's Principal Consultant looking at the future of Telecoms and IT and Andy Buss, Principal Analyst, Canalys.
