Blackburn continues; “Cisco and Emulex are enabling the unified data center transition with Nexus Switches and OneConnect adapters. Deploying the Emulex OneConnect adapters with Cisco Nexus Switches supports easier and faster data center virtualization in 10GbE environments, while future- proofing with FiberChannel over Etherenet capability.”
The new distribution agreement also coincides with a significant channel promotion, the Emulex Nexus Attach program, which offers partners the opportunity to secure additional margin on combined OneConnect and Nexus deals when registered via Comstor.
The Emulex agreement complements Comstor’s established LEAP program supporting Cisco’s channel initiatives on its Unified Computing Technology (UCT) and Unified Fabric Technology (UFT), which is designed to deliver greater incentives for partners to adopt and sell Cisco’s datacenter architecture.
