Concert Group Tunes into Aastra

The UK’s largest independent communication consortium, The Concert Group has formed a strategic partnership with Aastra to promote IntelliGate as part of its telephone system product portfolio.

The Concert Group, with a turnover in excess of £32 million a year, is made up of like-minded partners who work as one organisation to establish the sales volumes necessary to maximise product discounts, reinforce major buying group status with suppliers and provide a national support and marketing presence for its members.

Membership is by invitation only, granted after a probationary period. Each member operates to a code of common best practise and management procedures and is able to offer favourable rates for products and services, thanks to the Group’s collective buying power.

Tom Cullen, one of the founding members of The Concert Group says, “Our members and suppliers have to reflect our exemplary reputation within the communication industry. We only choose suppliers that we can be confident will meet our high standards through quality of product and service. Aastra certainly meets our criteria.”

Viv Singh, channel sales manager for Aastra says, “To break into the Concert Group is a significant coup for any supplier. Initially, seven Concert Group members have decided to go ahead with the Aastra solution and we look forward to developing our relationship with other dealers throughout the coming months.”
