Core Telecom and Jersey Telecom team triumphs in charity golf day

A team made up of directors from Core Telecom and Jersey Telecom triumphed in the recent Yorkshire Mafia Open Golf Day.

More than 70 people took part in the inaugural Yorkshire Mafia Golf Day at Oulton Hall on 13 September 2011.

In line with Yorkshire Mafia’s spirit of bringing together executives to build relationships in a relaxed, sales-free environment, the golf day provided a combination of business networking with serious competition in aid of Forget Me Not Trust.

Nick Dixon, Core Telecom’s Commercial Director who was part of the winning team said, “It was a great day and all of our team hit good form, despite the challenging weather conditions.”

Paul Bullock, Head of Business Development at Jersey Telecom Global Wholesale said, “Core Telecom and Jersey Telecom have been making a great team in business for a while now, but this is the first time we’ve teamed up on the golf course. Perhaps we should do it more often if this is the result!”

Founded in Nov 2008 Yorkshire Mafia has become the must join business membership organisation in Yorkshire. It brings together executives and stakeholders from the Yorkshire Business Community to meet, network, share experience, learn, build relationships and ultimately trade (where appropriate).

Core Telecom is an independent network operator which provides a full range of non geographic phone numbers, coupled with industry-leading call management solutions and ultra-reliable outpayments for call revenue-share.
