Speaking to Comms Business Magazine Crane Chairman David George commented, “Crane has demonstrated excellent growth in the last couple of years by generating a current turnover of £61m. Our business is doing well with year on year growth of 30% in the first quarter 2006. IPO is under consideration but there has been no firm decision made and the current volatility of the markets is clearly a concern.
Crane has consistently received clear feedback from happy customers which has been demonstrated by our winning Distributor of the Year and Best Training Operation consecutively for the last two years. We anticipate that Crane's portfolio of the leading VoIP and WLAN solutions together with our reseller community will continue to provide growth and continue to build long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with Europe's leading VARs and System Integrators.”
Looking ahead Crane is keen to put both their new convergence channel organisation and their product portfolio in front of resellers and has chosen the forthcoming Convergence Summit as a showcase.
