Dacon to distribute InfoCall through BT

Specialist distributor of telecommunications and contact centre solutions Dacon has signed a new partnership with BT to extend the InfoCall contact centre caller news and information solution as part of the BT Customer Intelligence product portfolio

BT Customer Intelligence offers contact centres a comprehensive range of technologies to improve the customer experience and efficiency. By adding the InfoCall solution through Dacon, BT can equip contact centres with this customer content tool to optimise the experience of their own customers across all communication channels.

Max Meiklejohn, Dacon’s Marketing Manager, comments: “InfoCall is a great product, it’s one which usually generates really positive feedback from callers, and as such, it’s fantastic to see this deal with BT coming to a conclusion. BT was enthusiastic about what InfoCall could bring to their contact centre offering, and here at Dacon we’re really pleased to be the distributor bringing this new product into BT’s portfolio.”

Using InfoCall’s software, callers being transferred or put on-hold in contact centres will be treated to up-to-date snippets of the day’s news - covering sports, weather, entertainment, financial and general news. The news updates can be combined with an end-user corporate’s own marketing messages, providing that company’s customers with a unique on-hold experience.

John Mason of BT Global Services, said: “This is an added-value solution for the BT product portfolio. The caller feedback on InfoCall content is very positive, and we’re confident that our enterprise clients will derive significant business benefits if they choose to integrate InfoCall from BT into their contact centres.”
