Daisy Communications has acquired Logicom Systems Ltd. The agreement is the fifth acquisition to be signed after daisy announced their intention this year to significantly grow their customer base through a series of acquisitions.
Logicom a fixed line Service Provider who offer business customers fixed line calls, line rental, broadband and mobile services. The Southampton based Service Provider had annual recurring revenues of £5M.
Announcing the agreement, Matthew Riley, daisy CEO, said: “This is the next step in the evolution of daisy, and sees us entering a new phase in our development as we embark on an aggressive acquisition strategy. The acquisition enables daisy to focus on our core strengths and deliver outstanding customer service to a growing number of UK businesses.”
John Fitzpatrick, Logicom Sales and Marketing Director, said: “Foremost in Logicoms mind was the need to ensure our customers continued to receive the highest standards in customer service and quality products. We firmly believe daisy is the best partner to deliver against this requirement given their recent performance and strength in the marketplace.”
Darren Scott-Healey, Logicom Managing Director, said: “Doing business with daisy was a pleasure. They delivered against the original deal agreed, were fair and open throughout the negotiations and hit all deadlines. We spoke to a number of Service Providers in the initial stages, however it was clear daisy had the strongest proposition and would actually deliver against their promises. The ease with which the deal was agreed has ensured positive foundations for working together in the future.”
Matt Peters, daisy Business Development Director, said: “Market consolidation and changing technology is presenting a degree of uncertainty and many Resellers are considering their options. daisy has a very attractive proposition for Resellers looking to exit the market, or simply sell their base and start again. We recommend any Resellers evaluating their options to speak to daisy as part of their strategic planning.”
