Daisy contracted to manage 2e2 Data Centre business

Daisy Group is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by Oakley Capital Private Equity LP, to manage the 2e2 Data Centre business.

Oakley has acquired, through a special purpose vehicle, Daisy Data Centre Solutions Limited, the business and assets of the 2e2 Data Centre business owned by the 2e2 Group that is in administration.

This contract, alongside other investments the Group is making into its data centre offering, enhances Daisy Group’s portfolio and will significantly increase exposure to this fast growing market.

Daisy Group will work with existing data centre employees of the business to provide data and hosting services from its data centres in Gateshead and Reading. Combined together, these data centres will double the amount of data centre power available to the Group’s customers, increasing from 2Mw to 4Mw.
