Daisy Distribution offers mobile partners a networking opportunity

Daisy Distribution, the mobile arm of Daisy Group Plc, will host a channel wide Deal Clinic on Wednesday, 25th May, to allow its partners to pitch business ideas in a bid to win support from the participating mobile networks.

Daisy Distribution’s Head of Marketing, Julien Parven, explained: “This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved, including us as the distributor, our partners and the mobile networks.

“It’s not only a great chance to get to know one another’s businesses better and form closer relationships, but take away some unique business opportunities that we otherwise wouldn’t have explored.”

Held at the Close House Hotel, Newcastle, the Dragon’s Den-style meeting will mirror previous events held by Daisy Distribution’s acquired company, Anglia Telecom.

During interactive sessions, partners will be given the opportunity to present propositions to the networks, which may include anything from an individual deal proposal to inviting a network to partner in developing a specific strategic opportunity.

With each suggestion, the Collective will be looking to identify what the cost would be to and what the commensurate return on their investment would be in order to invest in those proposals most aligned with the channel business objectives.

Parven added: “As an O2, Vodafone and Orange partner, Daisy Distribution is in a unique position being able to host an event such as this with all our partners present.
“In the past, we’ve held similar events, but specifically with a single network. We hope that by inviting multiple partners we are not only going to be able to achieve new business opportunities, but encourage our partners to forge closer network relationships and think more strategically about developing these.

“We will be encouraging partners to come up with opportunities that aren’t necessarily just physical deals, but marketing opportunities and vertical sales opportunities aimed at increasing business across all of the different networks.”
