Nelson based telecommunications company daisy, proudly celebrated its 5th birthday by holding a golf day at Clitheroe Golf Club, Lancashire. The event took place on 18th September and was attended by over fifty people including daisy staff, key customers, Resellers and Business Partners.

The day consisted of two rounds of golf, with 13 teams of 4 taking part in the competition. The overall winner was Jeffrey Cohen of Time Communications Ltd and the winning team - Alex Mawson of daisy, Tim Morris of Ernst & Young, George Burke of 1st Connect Group Ltd and Tom Starkie of Support Warehouse.

Over £800 was raised in the evening celebrations for local football club Barrowford Celtic, where daisy CEO, Matthew Riley, played as a young lad.

Other celebrations for daisy’s 5th birthday include a staff party at Nelson Cricket Club and office fun with balloons, buffet lunch and a dress down theme.

Commenting on the events, Matthew Riley, daisy CEO said: “Over the past five years daisy has achieved phenomenal success and the birthday events have been a perfect way to thank everyone including daisy staff and channel partners for their hard work and support.
