Daisy Group has announced that it is using BroadSoft’s BroadWorks platform as the foundation of its new product CloudSelect Voice. The company says this solution enhances their cloud-based voice offering and enables Daisy to offer customers the cutting-edge of voice technology over a highly resilient network.
BroadSoft is the leading global provider of software that enables mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to deliver real-time communications over their IP networks. The BroadWorks voice application platform delivers a range of Unified Communications (UC) services including video, voice, hosted call centre, conferencing, messaging and mobility.
Gareth Kirkwood, Chief Operating Officer at Daisy Group plc said, “We have seen a shift in what business customers are looking for from their telephony solution. SME and mid-market businesses are now looking for more than just calls, they want to increase their mobility and enhance their business’ flexibility for a low cost. By unifying their communications this is now achievable.
“As the preference for IP-based, hosted communication continues, demand for these unified and cost-effective capabilities is only set to increase and we are looking forward to working with BroadSoft to integrate its product roadmap into our own CloudSelect Voice product, meaning our customers will experience richer functionality in their service.”
“Consumers and enterprises continue to demand the accessibility of modern communication services on the growing variety of devices they use daily,” said Leslie Ferry, vice president marketing at BroadSoft. “We are glad Daisy has selected BroadSoft to anchor its cloud communications experience and we look forward to helping to deliver a superior service.”
