Daisy has boosted its support for digital services company Atos UK & Ireland.
Daisy Group – partner to Atos over the last 12 years – has added a major five-year data centre server, storage and management dimension to its ongoing provision of services.
The deal will see Daisy provide support of Atos’ UK data centres along with the UK support of its high-performance technology brand, Bull.
A selection of Atos engineers will be added to the existing 250 Daisy staff delivering day-to-day mission-critical support to a range of Atos customers across the UK.
A further 100 Daisy Group project experts are also deployed within Atos at any one time.
As part of the deal, Atos is embedding Daisy’s ‘always on’ infrastructure in order to further benefit its clients and accelerate their digital transformation.
The deal also highlights how Atos is introducing Daisy delivery into its own customer service wrap.
Daisy CEO Neil Muller, pictured (right) with Atos CEO for UK and Ireland Adrian Gregory, said: “I am delighted that Daisy is able to play such an important role in Atos’ continued growth and success.
“Atos UK&I is a highly valued customer and partner and it is extremely gratifying to know that our solutions and services are at the heart of its strategy and success. Our enduring and strengthening relationship is also testament to Daisy’s capability, expertise and customer focus, of which I am very proud.”
Daisy’s Partner Services division – which will now deliver the contract – provides innovative IT and communications solutions to enterprises on behalf of Systems Integrators, Service Providers, OEMs & VARs.
It helps organisations build, manage and ensure the continuity of their technology and communications infrastructure.
Commenting on the latest Atos deal, Managing Director of Daisy Partner Services Ian Roberts said: “We are extremely pleased to be strengthening our partnership with Atos UK&I and to be contributing in such a collaborative way in extending their capabilities. I am proud of the way we are helping Atos deliver innovation, enabling them to drive efficiency and scale their service delivery to their clients. With 30 years’ experience in partnering and service excellence, our message to all our partners is always consistent: It is your business, extended.”
Adrian Gregory, CEO Atos UK&I said: “I am delighted that Daisy is boosting its support to us in some of our critical areas of customer service deployment. Their capability, execution and commitment make them a strong strategic partner for us and one that is well placed to meet our evolving requirements.”
