Daisy Takes Partners To Iceland

Work hard, play hard – never has a saying rung as true as when a group of Daisy Distribution partners touched down on the snowy tarmac of Iceland for a fun-filled trip courtesy of the distributor’s latest partner incentive.

Daisy Distribution’s Samsung incentive ran from August 2016 until 31 January this year, and focussed solely on the purchased volumes of premium Samsung devices amongst its partner base.

The top nine purchasing partners from the three league tables were swept away for a three-day trip which included a Jeep tour, snowmobiling and a selection of dining experiences throughout their stay.

One of the deserving winners, Sean Mitchell from Ocean Telecom commented, “The whole event was a trip of a lifetime and made even better by the fantastic hospitality of Daisy Distribution and Samsung.”

Julien Parven Marketing Director at Daisy Distribution comments, “It is important that we not only teach and nurture our partners to succeed, but that we reward them for their hard work. This trip was the perfect way for us to do this, after a fantastic five months of business on Samsung devices.

“And not only do they get to enjoy a “trip of a lifetime” but it allows us to get closer to our partners, strengthen our relationships and really tap in to what it is that they need from us. From a Samsung perspective, it is also a great opportunity for the vendor to experience life within the independent partner channel and the challenges and opportunities that brings.”

The duration of the incentive saw an overall uplift of 7.5% in Samsung sales volumes, while sales of the target £250 premium device range grew by 69% in the period. This is within Daisy’s overall contribution to Samsung of double digit year-on-year revenue growth.

Plans are already well underway with initiatives to promote the A Series devices following their relaunch in Q1 2017 with successful partners in line to win Samsung display kits for their offices. There are also plans for an incentive on the Galaxy S8 which is due for B2B market launch at the end of April.
