Lauren McManus, Head of Marketing and Communications for Daisy Wholesale, has been shortlisted for Marketer of the Year at the 2019 Marketing Excellence Awards. Held by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the ceremony is set to take place on Thursday 11th April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Open to individuals, teams and agencies from every industry, the awards celebrate the very best of the marketing sector.

The category for Marketer of the Year recognises the impact one individual has had on an organisation, having demonstrated commitment, creativity, originality and an inspiring work ethic.

Lauren has worked for Daisy Wholesale for over three years and has transformed the marketing department, bringing all operations in-house and spearheading a range of successful campaigns and events.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for this prestigious award from such a distinguished body,” said Lauren. “My qualifications from the CIM have proved invaluable in my career and have opened up a world of opportunities.”

Chief Executive of CIM, Chris Daly, said, “We have seen many outstanding entries this year, and the breadth of our nominees is a clear demonstration of our profession’s hard work over the past 12 months. I would like to offer my congratulations to all those who were nominated; they represent the very best in the UK’s marketing talent.”
