DataSolutions Educates Channel on Hyper Converged Infrastructure Opportunities

DataSolutions has launched its Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Hub to help its channel partners capitalise on the Hyper Converged Integrated Systems market that analyst firm Gartner predicts will be worth $5 billion by 2019.

The HCI Hub created in partnership with Nutanix is a lead generation focused microsite containing educational and engaging content on HCI. All assets sit behind database driven form fills to enable partners to generate marketing qualified leads and includes rebranding tools to allow partners to personalise content with logos and contact details.

The campaign which launched in November includes a full suite of tools to allow end users to download HCI guides, watch HCI educational videos, request webinars and call backs with an event registration landing page to support local HCI related seminars.

“Hyper converged infrastructure is a rapidly growing market yet many channel partners serving the mid-market and SMB space don’t have the marketing expertise, internal resources or capacity to fully engage with customers which is why we are launching the HCI Hub to help educate and drive sales engagement,” explains Michael O’Hara, Group Managing Director of DataSolutions Ltd.

Running over a 12 month period, the campaign is supported by a series of email mailshots personalised for each reseller to drive traffic to their HCI hub microsite and runs alongside ongoing telemarketing campaigns.

“The Hub is branded for each partner and the language used for all of the supporting material is aimed at highlighting practical benefits along with access to demonstration products to help facilitate test drives and proof of concept pilot projects – the goal is to turn the hype into tangible wins,” O’Hara adds.

Around six partners have already signed up for the HCI Hub and feedback has been positive, this is open to all of our key partners. “The resources offered by the HCI Hub are well written and the use of video and infographics gives us a lot of options for our marketing campaign,” says Kevin Penn CEO of EssentialNET, one of the UK’s leading Next Generation Technology Solution Specialists, “The initial reaction from our internal sales teams and a few customers that we have shown it to has been very positive and we appreciate the effort that DataSolutions has put into the campaign which will allow us to capitalise on what we believe is still a largely untapped market.”

The HCI Hub is part of a focused DataSolutions portfolio that includes innovators within the hyper convergence, virtualisation and cloud space. Alongside HCI leader Nutanix, DataSolutions distributes Cohesity, a specialist in hyper-convergence for secondary storage; Densify, a predictive analytics service that optimises public, private and hybrid cloud environments; and Plexxi, an innovative technology offering application-aware fabric for public and private cloud.
