Extera grew their Plantronics sales by over 450% to secure the keys to the Transit vehicle, which they recently collected from Nimans’ Manchester headquarters. Finished in silver, the van was the top prize for the dealer achieving the greatest growth of year on year sales. It has a 2.2 litre engine, electric windows, CD player and alarm. The vehicle comes with three years servicing and is also plywood lined in the back for maximum usability.
“This promotion was a great success with many dealers from across the country taking part and dramatically increasing their sales,” confirmed Philippa Parrish, Head of Nimans’ Handset and Headset Sales. “Extera fully deserve to win as they have really excelled throughout the competition.”
Extera’s Managing Director, Martin Brant was delighted to win the van which he says will play an important part in his business’s continued development. “We didn’t realise we were in the running until the latter stages of the promotion and from then on we were really determined to come out on top, but I never thought for one minute we would actually win,” he explained. “We have grown our website sales and promoted a lot of the Plantronics products there, along with good marketing and in general great timing.
“Winning the van is perfect for us as we were just about to order a new one to increase the fleet of our network and cabling division. The van will be fully branded and goes on the road in the next couple of days.”
He added: “We deal with a lot of distributors but Nimans really do lead the way in every aspect of the company, from the ordering team through to returns. Their customer care is supreme.”
