Demand for training doubles

Distributors
Nimans has been ‘doubling up’ to cater for dealer demand for a new IP PBX platform only available from the distributor.

Training sessions have been taking place in both mornings and afternoons as resellers flock to learn more about the powerful IQ PBX platform, at a series of free technical workshops across the country.

A mix of traditional telecoms and Data VARS attend the events, each lasting approximately four hours. They are held monthly throughout 2013 at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters and various venues in southern England.

At the latest Manchester gathering dealers travelled from as far as Telford and the North East. One local reseller confirmed: “I’m from a traditional telecoms background but we all need to evolve and move on. It’s not easy to migrate but this IP platform makes it a pain free process. It certainly fills a gap in the market and is easy to understand and sell. I’ve already got a couple of opportunities in the pipeline.”

iQ PBX Business Manager, Judith Addison says Nimans provides customers with all they need to know to install the three versions available. “Such has been the high demand we are running courses across the whole day so that as many dealers as possible can get on board. They leave with full accreditation, equipped with the knowledge to install what is a very reseller-friendly system. All the events so far have been very popular with many resellers placing firm orders and requesting demonstration kits.”

The iQ PBX is designed for the sub 25, 60 and up to 200 user markets - combining sophisticated feature-rich functionality with cost effective performance – including Microsoft Lync integration as part of a complete out- of-the-box solution. RRP prices (ex VAT) start from £500 (250 model), £850 for the mid-range 600 and £2,900 for the top-of-the-range 2000 version – providing resellers with many margin-rich sales opportunities.
