Dickinson is back with Jola

Cloud
After a brief hiatus which left much of the Channel speculating about the return of Andrew Dickinson, the former MD of Griffin Internet, he has now announced Jola to the Channel, a brand new cloud communications reseller and VNO

Incorporated in early 2014, and now with offices in Cambridge, Saffron Walden and Nottingham, Jola has ambitious growth plans, selling through a nationwide dealer network, into the SME market. Jola is owned and managed by the team that ran Griffin before it was sold in 2012.

“Our philosophy at Griffin was that we were selling with our Partners rather than to them and we have continued this approach with Jola. Automation, pricing, billing, support and paying commissions are ‘givens’ and of course Jola does them well. Jola’s key differentiator is that we make our Partners more successful. We understand the needs of their customers and all the options available to them. Jola Partners have an edge over their competitors.

There is a fantastic opportunity in the Ethernet market, with 97% of SMEs still using broadband and the price of Ethernet leased lines tumbling. Our best Partners are focussed on looking for companies struggling with broadband or with leased lines coming up for renewal. Once their customers have a solid reliable connection our Partners are selling in ISDN replacement, hosted telephony and a variety of cloud-based solutions.

Our SIM-only business mobile offering is the best in the UK and our hosted voice solution is the market leader. We are running demo workshops for our Partners early next year and JolaPhone always gets a good reaction because it just works. It is plug and play, does a lot more than your average phone system and costs a lot less.” Andrew Dickinson, MD, Jola.
