Digby Brown, Scotland’s largest injury specialist firm, has awarded Commsworld a Wide Area Data Network contract valued at over £200k to upgrade their existing infrastructure to enhance the management of their mission critical applications between their sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Glenrothes.
The WAN is built on a National Ethernet Platform and delivers a 45 fold increase in bandwidth for only double the price of the current 2MB MPLS platform. The Ethernet platform allows Digby Brown much greater control of their own changes and allows them to alter the deployment of their Server Farms to deliver considerable cost savings.
