Digicomm BCS Celebrates 10th anniversary.

Mark Pollitt, Managing Director of Digicomm (and formerly European technical specialist for Avaya) was joined by leading figures from the industry and civic dignitaries to celebrate the successes and the progress made by Digicomm over the past decade.

Those who joined Alan Shraga – CEO of Fidelity Group and Graham Bunting, Business Leader with Azlan.

Businesses from both across the country and across several industries (manufacturing, law, maintenance, logistics, IT & Education) attended the celebratory event. Chris Barrow, Advanced Technology Marketing Manager with Avaya captured everybody’s imagination with not only product specific solutions but with the recognition of the pains businesses go through and how technology can bring together all forms of communications.

Chris also showcased the Avaya Flare, a desktop tablet which integrates e-mail, internet browsing, internal and external voice calls and real time video conferencing, software which will soon be available on Ipad2. Digicomm is the first company in the North West to have this product and the 10th anniversary celebration was the perfect opportunity to present it.

Lee Porter Account Manager for Oak Telecom demonstrated the ease of end use in relation to heads Up Displays (Display 09 or X) statistical management reporting with regard to FSA legislation relating to call logging.

Digicomm has rapidly developed since being established in 2001. In 2009 the company moved to the impressive Lostock Office Park, to accommodate its growing sales and engineering teams. The firm now offers telephone systems, network services, video and audio conferencing, plus mobile and gateway solutions to clients across the UK. Digicomm has enjoyed strong and consistent growth, enjoying an increase in turnover by 20% over the past 5 years.

When Graham Bunting, Business Leader with Azlan. and key note speaker at the event was asked why he thought Digicomm had done so well over the past decade and through recession, his answer was simple; “People - that’s what makes a good company. Mark has built a great team of people and serves his customers with passion.”
