Michael Robinson was convergence lead for network services at IBM Global Solutions before accepting his new position with Dimension Data. In this role, he was responsible for developing, leading and architecting IBM North Region’s strategy and technology policies for IBM professional services.
“Michael’s understanding of the converged communications marketplace, focus on the value that these technologies bring clients and business development experience made him the ideal choice to lead the continuing development of our converged communications business,” remarked Russell Bolan, CEO of Dimension Data Europe. “We are very pleased that he has decided to join the Dimension Data team.”
Jonathan Morris has worked at the forefront of network convergence for over 10 years, holding a series of senior positions at Newbridge Networks, Cisco Systems and, most recently, Affiniti, before joining Dimension Data. His experience in implementing converged communications solutions covers a diverse range of industries, including pharmaceutical, financial services, media, automotive, retail, travel and health. At Affiniti he was design solutions manager for IP communications, where he played a key role in turning the company from a data network integrator into one of the most successful enterprise Cisco IP Communications partners in Europe.
“Jonathan’s technical skills are the ideal complement to Michael’s and his experience will further bolster our already considerable experience in converged communications.
