Dimension Data Wins Twice at 2007 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference

Dimension Data has won two Partner of the Year Awards at the 2007 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards. The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft Partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.

Dimension Data has been recognised for its innovative and ground-breaking work in identity management and unified communications: for its IP telephony – Active Directory (IPAD) Connector and also for its Exchange migration and deployment solution, encompassing an integrated set of unified communications and collaboration technologies.

Rob Lopez, Managing Director, Solutions, Dimension Data Holdings adds: “In the past three years we have won six global Microsoft Partner awards. The fact that they span multiple technology segments underscores our deep understanding of Microsoft’s technologies and our capability to pass these onto our clients to solve a business need.

“It is particularly important to the Dimension Data Group that we achieved top honours for our Unified Communications and Identity Management solutions. We have a unique blend of networking, voice and Microsoft skills and are thrilled to be acknowledged as leaders in these categories.

“Unified Communications gives Dimension Data enormous opportunity to deliver additional value to our worldwide clients,” said Lopez.

Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide. In addition to winning two awards, Dimension Data was also a finalist in two other categories.
