Distributors Welcome Siemens Trade in Offers

Two of Siemens distributors have welcomed the vendors new initiative which will see resellers benefiting from trade in allowances where a HiPath 150E, HiCom Office Pro or HiPath 3700 system is replaced by the latest HiPath 3800 unified communications platform.

Distributor Nimans is reporting high demand for the trade-in sales offer for Siemens resellers which they say can potentially save their customers up to £10,000.

Nimans is urging more dealers to take advantage of an upgrade incentive, “This offer can potentially save an end user up to £10,000 off the rrp and also generate thousands of pounds for a reseller. As well as the trade-in price reduction from Siemens for their customers, resellers can enjoy their normal discounts from Nimans which makes this proposition extremely attractive to both parties,” said Nimans’ Siemens Business Manager, Mike Tongue.

He continued: “There’s never been a better time for a reseller to persuade a customer to upgrade their communications platform and take advantage of this fantastic money saving offer by getting them to refresh to the latest unified technology.

“The addition of new applications such as IP telephony, unified communications and fixed mobile convenience opens up many new areas of opportunity for resellers, which the HiPath 3800 is ideally suited to exploit. This offer is proving tremendously successful for us across the country.”

Meanwhile, MTV Telecom’s Commercial Director Jim Robertson says that the Siemens offer will enable resellers to approach customers who had hitherto decided to stick with their present systems due to cost take now take advantage of the new applications that the Siemens 3800 can offer.

Robertson is also reporting huge interest in the new Siemens OpenOffice ME, “This week sees MTV Telecom resellers gathering once again for an introductory seminar on the OpenOffice we are running in Manchester. Whilst the HiPath 3800 addresses many applications for the SME the OpenOffice ME is ideally suited to the smaller company, say from 29 users, wanting to deploy unified communications simply and cost effectively.”
