DMSL Aims To Drive Sales With BT Business One Plan Campaign

DMSL, the supplier of BT broadband and related services, has been recruited as one of only three trial partners for the new BT Business One Plan and is embarking on a major marketing campaign with a view to driving strong reseller sales of the scheme in the New Year.

One of BT’s leading distribution partners in the UK, DMSL works with over 1000 partners to generate new business for BT broadband, voice and other services amongst SMEs. John Carter, Managing Director of DMSL, says that BT Business One Plan is a major opportunity for the SME reseller channel. “For any business that spends money on calls and lines, and also wants to keep life as simple as possible, this is the best offer BT has ever presented. It caps call costs at a fantastic rate and provides single-billing for whatever combination of calls and lines and broadband and mobile services the customer wants. For the small business, switching to BT Business One Plan will be a very easy decision and our intention is making sure resellers can take full advantage of the opportunity that will present.”

The BT Business One Plan is the next evolution of the popular BT Business Plan scheme, which many small businesses all over the UK have signed up to. BT Business One Plan provides further reductions with fixed line calls now capped at 5p per hour and mobile calls at 20p per hour. In the case of fixed line calls this represents a 50 per cent reduction of charges when compared to BT Business Plan.

In addition, customers that sign up for 24-month contacts will receive a 5 per cent reward in the form of an account credit on all their fixed, mobile and broadband connections and receive a single quarterly bill for whatever combination they have. Under BT Business Plan, customers could only obtain rebates on their fixed line call charges so this too represents a significant saving.

The BT Business One Plan trail began officially on 3rd December 2007 and is expected to continue until the springtime. While DMSL has already started its sales and marketing campaign, the main drive will come after the turn of the year, says Carter, when small business users come back to work determined to get their costs down. “The New Year is the perfect time to offer BT Business One Plan and to attract new customers with what is a very attractive offer. We’ll be pulling out the stops to make sure that our reseller partners take this opportunity to get their 2008 sales off to a flying start.”
