DMSL Highlights Margin Potential of BTnet Local Access Opportunity

DMSL is proclaiming the launch of BT’s new BTnet Local Access offering as an excellent margin-making opportunity for resellers and urging them to take the proposition to customers.

BTnet Local Access offers customers un-contended internet access with 10Mb of bandwidth from only £5,500 per annum, with free connection for eligible services on a three- year contract. A managed router is also included in the price. As well as attractive pricing, BTnet is also offering exceptionally high service levels with a target of 100 percent availability and less than 20ms round trip transmission time in the UK, underwritten by a “money back” guarantee, for the service.

With BTnet Local Access, resellers can earn commissions of up to 10 percent of the connection and rental charges for the first year of the contract, and up to 5 percent of rental charges for the full term. Contracts can be for three or five years. John Carter, managing director of DMSL – an Authorised Partner for BT – says that the offer is a great opportunity for the channel. “BTnet Local Access gives resellers the opportunity to provide a high-performance service that delivers exceptional value to their customers and generates additional revenues and extra margins for their own business.”

Carter says that now is a good time to take the BTnet service to customers. “The credit squeeze is hurting everyone and this is a good opportunity for customers to get a fully-guaranteed service with an excellent SLA and reduce their costs at the same time. We believe it is a highly attractive proposition for SMEs and we’ll be supporting resellers that want to take it to their customers in every way we can.”

An established Authorised Partner for BT, DMSL can provide resellers with full pre-sales support and further information on BTnet and other BT solutions, such as its VPN, Ethernet and private circuit offerings, all of which are available through DMSL. The company will also assist resellers pricing and quotations and manage the processing of BT orders on their behalf.

BTnet Local Access is available to from more than 100 BT Points of Presence (POPs) positioned within the UK’s main towns and cities. The service is available, subject to survey, on 10Mb, 30Mb and 100M BTnet bearers.
