DMSL is BT Indirect Partner Sales Broadband Partner Of The Year

DMSL, the provider of broadband, voice and IP-based communications services, has been named BT Indirect Partner Sales Broadband Partner of the Year in recognition of its achievements in helping partners to drive new business over the past 12 months. The company is also calling on BT resellers to revitalise their broadband sales by capitalising on the roll-out of fibre-based services across the UK.

By concentrating its efforts on key areas in which BT has been rolling out 21CN and fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) services, DMSL has been able to deliver some exceptional results over the past year. John Carter, Managing Director of DMSL, stated: “By working with BT and putting most of our focus on the regions where the higher speed ADSL2+ and fibre services are available, we’ve been able to deliver some positive results for BT partners. Business customers want these higher speed services – it is just a matter of taking the message to the market and selling them.”

Carter however, warned BT partners not to be complacent. “While the signs are encouraging, there is still a good deal of uncertainty in the wider market. Partners still face significant challenges in the year ahead and one thing they can’t afford to do is sit back. This is why it is so important for all of us to take full advantage of the promotions and offers BT puts forward. If they work with DMSL, we’ll make sure they do.”

DMSL is expecting the remaining half of 2011 to be exceptionally busy as BT steps up its efforts to capture even more business customers. The current BT Business ‘Big Give-away’ campaign, is already having an impact, Carter noted. “We’re seeing good levels of interest in the higher speed broadband services now and the current campaign is getting lots of interest from SMBs. With fibre rolling out in more places now, there is a good opportunity for resellers to revitalise their BT Broadband sales right now. We can and will gladly help them to do that.”

Under the offer, which runs until 31 July, customers who are new to BT Business are offered free connection and a free wireless router, three months free broadband and line rental, and unlimited Wi-Fi. There are also offers available for existing customers who switch their line rental or place new orders for BT business broadband.

The BT Indirect Partner Sales Broadband Partner of the Year award for 2010/2011, was presented to John Carter at a ceremony in London last week, by former All Blacks rugby union captain, Sean Fitzpatrick.
