DMSL Kicks off Reseller Recruitment for Virgin Media

Romford based DMSL, the distributor of broadband connectivity and hosted services, has started a major recruitment campaign for reseller partners that want to take Virgin Media Business’s ultra-fast fibre broadband services to market, following its appointment as one of two official distributors for the company.

Virgin Media Business has decided to target the SME market via the channel through distributors DMSL and Daisy for their ultra-fast FTTP broadband services with download speeds of up to 100Mbps, 200Mbps and 300Mbps through its own UK-wide fibre network.

DMSL says the services deliver very high levels of service, with customers assured of achieving average download speeds of over 80 percent of the specified speed at all times. The services are already available to most business in the UK.

The company will be looking to recruit as many partners as possible for Virgin Media Business and as well as communicating the value proposition directly and through email, will be sharing the public platforms at a number of forthcoming channel events over the next few weeks. These will include the Synaxon Annual Conference in June, at which a senior figure from Virgin Media Businesses is expected to deliver a keynote address, sharing the company’s vision of the future and its plans to help partners grow their broadband sales.

John Carter, Managing Director of DMSL (Pictured), states: “Virgin Media Business is a colossal opportunity for channel partners to get on-board with a great brand name, deliver ultra-fast broadband to their customers and most important of all, secure that vital connection that will be the gateway to so much more business potential. Virgin has invested millions in its network and that means businesses can take advantage of very high bandwidth and can take immediate advantage of hosted, managed and cloud services. That opens the door for resellers to offer more services and start building their subscription income.”

DMSL has already started to talk to its partners about the exciting prospect of working with Virgin Media Business and wants to engage with more prospective resellers as soon as possible. “The response has been really positive”, says Carter. “Resellers like the Virgin brand name because and know that customers will jump at the chance to subscribe to an ultra-fast broadband service from a trusted supplier. We see it taking off really fast.”

The distributor will be applying its tried-and-tested through-marketing methodology to generate leads and pass them onto engaged Virgin Media Business partners. It will also provide support for partners on provisioning of services, ensuring both the resellers and customers are kept informed at every stage of the process. It will make extensive marketing materials on Virgin Media Business solutions available online for partners to use in their own campaigns.
