Midwich has signed a deal with Doro – to distribute the company’s award-winning range of easy-to-use consumer electronics through its channels.
This partnership means that Doro products will now be distributed through Midwich’s comprehensive network of specialist independent consumer electronics retailers. Midwich will focus on distributing Doro’s mobile, landline, DECT and care product ranges across the UK.
Kane Barker, Product Manager at Midwich, said: “Doro’s range of products meet the needs of an audience that is often forgotten in a way that other technology devices simply don’t. We distribute to independent consumer electronics retailers, many of which have a high number of traditional and more senior customers – due to their positioning in local, trustworthy locations. Doro products certainly fulfill the needs of the growing population looking for a better and easierexperience with everyday technology. We have the infrastructure in place tocompliment Doro’s portfolio and grow our specialist channels specifically within the senior mobile market. We will be providing the Doro range to independent retailers via our retail division, MidwichHome.”
Chris Millington, MD Doro UK, said: “I’m delighted to announce this agreement with Midwich to target its strong distribution through the independent retail sector. The independent network is both a growth opportunity and an excellent route to provide consumers with outstanding and credible customer support and care. Our devices are especially developed and designed to offer technology in an easy-to-use package – making staying in contact with family and friends better for all, especially our senior audience. Design features such as high contrast and concave buttons, larger font size, impressive loud and clear sound and excellent ergonomics all make a huge difference to the end user.”
