Telecoms reseller, NEG Plc is celebrating a double win in the 2005 Essex Business Awards. Having been selected for the shortlist in three of the twelve categories, the company walked away with wins in two of these categories.
The company beat off competition to win the Award for Innovation as well as the award for Best Sales and Marketing Programme. The company’s best selling product is a phone system designed specifically for use in GPs’ surgeries. Known as Surgery Line, the system has proved so popular since its launch in 2002 that it is now installed at over 500 practices across the UK.
“We were delighted to win both awards – particularly the Innovation Award,” comments NEG CEO, Richard Chapman. “In order to win, we had to demonstrate that our solutions are ahead of our customers’ needs. As a company, we pride ourselves on listening to our clients and constantly refining and improving the products we have available. I see the award as a compliment to all the hard work and professional approach of all our staff.” The company was also required to meet the judges criteria and “provide individual solutions to individual customers” and find innovative uses for existing technology.
