Digital Wholesale Solutions (DWS) has announced a partnership with FirstWave Cloud Technologies to bring Cloud-based security solutions to their growing base of more than 2,000 Channel partners. The super aggregator introduced two new solutions, Guardian Email and Guardian Web, designed to protect businesses of any size from malicious attacks.
Guardian is designed to protect businesses against today’s biggest threats, while making security simple for the Channel to deliver, with one-click provisioning and a wholesale monthly ‘hop-on, hop-off’ subscription model. Behind this simplicity, the platform combines Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet technology with FirstWave IPR to bring service provider class security, previously only available to large corporates, to small businesses, simply and cost effectively.
Guardian Email is designed to secure inbound email from threats, including malware and viruses, while also detecting more advanced, persistent threats, such as whaling and spoofing attacks. This security solution offers unique, layered protection for any business, from SMB to enterprise.
Guardian Web uses DNS-based or web proxy technology to determine the trustworthiness of web requests, adding an advanced layer of protection at the early stage for rapid security enforcement.
“The security landscape is becoming increasingly complex, with more and more businesses working in the Cloud, making it vital for businesses to have an efficient security solution in place,” said Terry O’Brien, CEO at Digital Wholesale Solutions. “By partnering with FirstWave, we are able to offer our partners two fantastic products that their customers can’t do business without.”
He continued, “The majority of our partners work in the SMB sector, an area in which businesses often know little about the threats to web browsing and email. We want to offer guidance to our partners, and their customers, as they enter the world of cyber security, providing simple but effective packages that will protect critical business data.”
Speaking about the partnership, FirstWave’s Director of Partner Business Group, Bardia Khalilifar, said, “DWS is a leader in providing end to end solutions to their partners. Our solution will give DWS a unique and compelling SMB offering not available from any other Channel company in the UK.”
Nathan Marke, Chief Digital Officer of DWS, added, “We are very excited to have signed with FirstWave to provide this leading-edge platform with integrated cloud security solutions. FirstWave offers a unique SMB security offering to our partners who will benefit enormously from the access to an accessible, affordable and comprehensive email and web security solution for their SMB customers.”
FirstWave’s CEO, David Kirton, said, “We welcome DWS as FirstWave’s first UK distribution partner. DWS is an innovative channel business at the convergence of IT, telecoms and cloud. We look forward to providing our integrated SaaS security solutions to their 2,200 resellers and their customers.”
